I FIX IT Cellphone Repairs is the proud founder of “The iPods for Kids Project”.
Every day hundreds of iPhones and iPod Touches are accidentally broken, and ultimately ends up sitting in a drawers never to be used again. The goal of this, not for profit project, is to collect those iPhones and iPod Touches so that they can be repaired, and/or used for spare parts. Once iPod Touches are repaired; I FIX IT will donate them to our local hospitals so that the children can put them to good use during their hospital stay.

The iPods for Kids project was initiated on 14 February 2012 with the vision of bringing refurbished and/or new iPod Touches to sick children in our community hospitals for use during their stay. Ultimately, the vision is to bring iPod Touches 4 in order to allow the children to communicate with their love ones who cannot be with them at all time through the use of emails, iMessage or even better Face time.
The project is seeking the support of the general population in making the project a success. I FIX IT is currently soliciting donations of broken iPod Touches, iPhones and other electronic devices such as blackberries.
I FIX IT will provide the labour and expertise to affect the repairs. Donated iPhones and other cell phones will be refurbished where possible and sold. The profit generated from the sale will be used towards the purchase of new iPod Touches 4. You can see what we've accomplished so far
